Absolutely fine for a one night stay but the rooms are looking very tired. Rooms were clean, basic but in this remote location pretty affordable. Staff friendly. 2 min walk to the “Main Street” of Fox if you can call it a Main Street!
The host gave us a warm and welcoming experience. She was incredibly kind and helpful. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils.nnIt had everything we needed—highly recommended!
Lovely single storey chalet style accommodation with parking outside your room. Clean and plenty of kitchen utensils. Cafes and bars within walking distance and views of mountains from your chalet. We were very disappointed to find that we were nowhere near Fox's Glacier, the road upto it was no longer usable and to walk it would have taken about 8hrs round trip. Not something you could do after a 6hr drive and only staying one night. They do have a viewing point but it is only visible on bright sunny mornings!!!
Hosts very helpful with a minor reservation error on my part. Clean, warm and comfortable rooms. Close to a nice restaurant see review for White Pub Cafe and Bar with a selection of complimentary toiletries and kitchen staples on arrival.
This is the best part of our stay in fox glacier. Room was super clean, spacious & the bed was amazingly comfy. Highly recommend. We will stay here next time
