I had great service from Dawn and Milly – both were friendly and helpful. Milly really went out of her way to assist, even offering without being asked.nnUnfortunately, my experience with Rory was the opposite. He seemed completely disinterested and unhelpful, which really stood out compared to the excellent service from the others. .nnHe clearly did not want to be there and should offer his job to someone who really wants to work.nnHe's about as useful as a chocolate teapot
I had a disappointing experience at The Warehouse in Silverdale regarding mismatched pricing. I picked up ice packs clearly marked as 40% off. However, when I scanned them at self-checkout, they rang up at full price.nnI had to go back to the shelf, take photos of the price label, and show them to the self-service employee. Instead of addressing the issue, the employee gave a series of excuses before eventually directing me to customer service.nnUnfortunately, customer service was no better. Despite showing them the photos and explaining the situation, they ignored the evidence, gave more excuses, and failed to acknowledge the mistake at this point, I just wanted them to fix the lableing error. It felt like they either didn’t have the authority to resolve the issue or simply didn’t care.nnAfter wasting so much time trying to get someone to admit the labeling error, I gave up and left. Went to the warehouse Albany afterward, and the labeling was amazing in comparison.
We ordered a fridge with delivery, but after two weeks and several emails, the fridge is still in Christchurch – even though it is physically available in Auckland stores. We also ordered a printer through Click & Collect, but it was not available on time. Very disappointing experience – never again.
Good store layout and has everything you need. Very tidy store compare to other sites. Usually have stocks of all items. They have since shared the same shoe floor with the Stationery. Not all staff are friendly hence not getting 5 star reviews.
Price Mismatch at The Warehouse Silverdale – How Can Customers Trust This?nnI picked up a box of Nescafe Coffee Sachets 26 pack at The Warehouse Silverdale. The shelf label clearly said $16.50, but when scanned and checked out, it came up as $10.50. While it’s cheaper at the counter, it’s still a price mismatch – and that’s misleading.nnIf this is happening on coffee, how many other items on the shelves are priced wrong too? Customers rely on shelf pricing to make decisions. Some people may walk away from a product thinking it’s too expensive, when in reality it scans cheaper. Others may pay more without realising if the error goes the other way.nnI’ve noticed plenty of other Google reviews mentioning pricing issues at this store, so it’s clearly not a one-off mistake. Why hasn’t this been fixed?nnAccurate pricing isn’t optional – it’s about basic trust. How are shoppers supposed to know which price is correct unless they scan every single item? The Warehouse needs to take this seriously and sort it out.nnPS - 1 STAR RATING.
