Ordered a washing machine in store as ive moved into a new house and don’t have one. I mentioned I needed it urgently and if I couldn’t get it within a week I would drive to another store and pick it up where they had stock. I was assured by the sales rep that it would be delivered on a specific date. Fast forward 4 days past “delivery day” no communication, no washing machine.nI’d suggest not lying to customers to get a sale.
The Farmer's Silverdale store has good customer service and their sale prices were very genuinely attractive. When we first came, we met with Ginette Lee, who helped us navigate whiteware good deals and had good product knowledge. All went smoothly until the delivery guys had issues delivering our huge fridge up the stairs. We had to refuse delivery and work to find a solution. It took a little longer than we would have liked, but Simon Wollerton, the manager, stayed with us every step of the way to find extra help in delivering the fridge to us. He stayed in contact, and we had the issues resolved well. Thank you, Simon, for making the situation more palatable and finding ways to make us feel we were being taken care of. This is my first shopping experience at Farmers for such large spend. With the help from Ginette when we first came to browse, and Simon when we faced issues, we did feel well cared for. I didn't give a 5 stars only because of the delays we encountered from your 3rd party delivery company resolving the issue, but otherwise for Farmers a full 5 stars. In the end, the 3rd party delivery persons were very pleasant and helpful too--I guess there was some miscommunication along the way in the first place about manpower needed for the job, which could have been avoided. All good now and thank you.
Nice place to get accessories for my house, little bit pricy but other than that it is a nice local place.
