Terrible staffing at this store. The security manager called the police on members of my family in the middle of general shopping for “suspicious behaviour”. The police arrived and there were no concerns from their point of view aside from and said the security woman was essentially wasting his time and no charges made. The warehouse refused to provide reasoning for their actions or security footage to justify police involvement and no apology was given or accountability from the staff member. I can only assume this was a racially profiled attack due to the demographic of affected family. Absolutely disgusted!
I was overcharged for 3 plants when they were clearly advertised as marked down. When I rang them they told me it was because they have a lot of young staff??? Hey guys um young staff work in businesses everywhere and they have no problems keeping their systems accurate and charge their customers correctly so I am unsure why thats an issue here. happy to take your money but very poor customer service. Now I have to drive an additional 70kms return for the refund *very annoyed*

Shocking customer service, only ever 2 check outs available and there's a cue of customers and you have 3 staff members standing in a corner looking to you and doing nothing but gas bagging, this happens ALOT got accused of trying to steal when I was just in fact checking the quality of the pens because I've had issues with the warehouse branded pens in the past.nI usually love shopping at the warehouse and spend alot of money but since having to deal with ASHBURTON warehouse I never want to shop at the warehouse again!
