What a great pub/eatery they have established here. It some how has that old school pub feel, with a great restaurant/ eatery to boot. The food is excellent, well priced and fresh! The staff are fantastic, helpful and chatty. Loved our visit here and will absolutely be back.
hi, We just had pizza delivered to us from Willi's Pizza on Deliver Easy last night, a quick Google check tells me it's from your kitchen. now normally I wouldn't leave a review, but honestly we are so beyond disappointed with our food. The house slaw which I paid $6 for was warm and bitter, the fries were undercooked and my god the pizza's are horrendous. I have photos of my pepperoni and margarita pizza's, can you tell me which is which? the bases are overcooked, dry and hard, the sauce base is chunky and bitter, there are whole chunks of garlic and unripe tomato. There is honestly nothing redeemable from this meal, perhaps the kind and lovely delivery girl.
Very good understanding of gluten free and coeliac. Staff were friendly but unfortunately the food wasn't that great. Had a salad but the broccoli was very dry and oily. We also got some pork belly bites on the side. They were not much better, very dry and a little too burnt on the outside for my liking. Would definitely come by again for a drink but would skip the food.
Extremely disappointed after strolling across this place on a trip to Nelson. Took a good 20mins before we were served, 5 of us decided on the roast of the day, waiter returns only 4 available, 1 changed meals. Waiter returns again to advise only 2 available so we ask what is available, no buttermilk chicken, no fish of the day, no burgers… orders were changed. We then waited an hour for the so called Chicken Parmi which I can only assume is a chicken tender with a touch of pasta sauce and cheese. Extremely disappointed and left still hungry.
Nice enough bar with cheery service but the nachos were at best, average, only the cheese was warm, guac had a bit of a strange taste, wouldn’t have again.
Besides the amazing drinks and atmosphere, these guys offer excellent customer service. I wanted a beer and the amazing bartender custom made a brandy-hot lemon tea for my partner who had a sore throat. It wasn't even on the menu! They were also so courteous throughout the evening.
Really enjoyed our dinner. I had the mac n cheese and it was on point! My hubby had the half chicken and he loved it. Nice atmosphere.
It was a nice day so we decided to go out for lunch and a drink in town. The bar staff were great all guys just doing it well done our food on the other hand left a little to bit to be desired. My wife had a Caesar salad with chicken and bacon which was somewhat more a leafy salad with about 5-6 bits of chicken for $23 and I had the chilli beef nachos $24 which had more corn chips small amount of beef and some weird cheese spread which was just poured over after it had been microwaved, we were disappointed being that we had dined there a few times and had received good food, might have just caught the guys on a average day.
We had a small bite here recently while in town and enjoyed it. The bar staff young men were so welcoming & friendly! The portion of the side of veg was tiny, but very tasty.
Visited here twice, and had a drink and something to eat. The first time they had a full menu available, the second time only had a very small selection of snacks. Like wise the last visit fries was the only option open to us, it appears that around 3.00pm they do not offer main meals. Sadly after a being busy during the day it would have been nice to have more of a selection to choose from. The staff at time were a little abrupt and didn't really want to have any interaction with its customers.
