A diverse range of different art work. Some famous Kiwis, some unknown. A nice space in a beautiful environment. Cafe was good too

Saw many of what I would describe as masterpieces of NZ painting up-close and personal here. The comparatively small gallery makes it feel like I was getting a private showing of the works of Rita Angus, Toss Woollaston and Bill Hammond.

Some nice local artists. Nothing spectacular but some quality landscapes. Free entry. Nice cafe & gardens.

Very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Great variety of local and exhibition art. Make sure you have lunch at the Cafe. The food is exquisite.

I spent more time in the cafe over coffee than in with the Art work. Perhaps it was just the current exhibitions. Great space but left disappointed.
