The best Italian restaurant in Paraparaumu. We have been a few times and have never felt disappointed. The service is great and the food is delicious. I love their cocktails something I recommend you try. It pays to book in advance.
First time customers- just amazing. Lovely Staff, food was beautiful & drinks were very tasty strong, so I enjoyed that a lot! We had the $50 each set menu which gave us a choice of 2 entrees, 4 mains & 2 desserts. We chose different meals & shared them. I'm not usually a salmon person but the Salmone pasta was.delicious! My Wife had the Ragu alla bolognese which was delicious! Definitely recommend & we would love to return. Happy 1 year Wedding Anniversary to us.
Wow it was great better service than we got last week at Logan Brown. The guys are fab and the food was authentic and delicious.Excellent meal thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Authentic Italian food. Far better atmosphere than the competition. I had the antipasto platter which was plenty for four and really tasty. Salmon and spinach fettuccine was fab and our guests had a steak and the NY meatballs. Definitely worth a return trip.
Unfortunately it was not the experience we expected. Food was basic and overpriced for what it was. Overcooked steak, dirty forks, a strange host/busboy, wait staff with zero knowledge of the menu, a slamming door & an owner who is completely oblivious. You neither feel like you are in a fine dining establishment or an Italian restaurant. This place is in serious need of a Gordon Ramsay makeover!
Great atmosphere and lovely servers. Unfortunately I had better things to say about the food. Ordered a pizza and the crust was undercooked, very dough-y. The sauce wasn't done properly, felt undercooked, was Alps undersalted. Perhaps the kitchen was in a hurry but when you pay $29 for a pizza that claims to be proper Italian, you deseve better. Also didn't realise Polpetta, their venison meatballs is just one meatball. The menu should reflect that, especially when they're charging $17 for just one meatball.
