What an amazing meal yesterday! My husband and I were in Paraparaumu traveling. The hotel owner recommended the restaurant. We were denied service at 7:30pm even though the restaurant was open until 9pmnWe spent out $250. At Lustre. Wonderful meal and great service.
Really lovely, welcoming restaurant, authentic with modern touch very appealing decore. Lovely music playing. My parents and i have been here several times and are never dissapointed. The staff are friendly and helpful, food is excellent, i believe this is a little Gem of a restaurant. You dont get rushed but dont have to wait too long between courses. Im sure on very busy evenings they do their best to meet peoples preferences. I like that they dont hover and ask if you want more to drink as soon as your glass is empty. Just give them a smile or get their attention and they're there. Our favourite as a starter is the 2 risotto balls, and 2 authentic italian meat balls they are delicious and a very decent size. The Salmon fettucine is also lovely as are their other meals. We have also had the steak and it was flavoursome and tender. Have never had to wait for a table but we do usually book.
