Fantastic restaurant. Excellent service, excellent food.nThe calamari was perfectly cooked, tender, nicely seasoned.nThe garlic bread was just right, not slathered in masses of garlic, and on a pizza dough base.nThe pork belly and steak were awesome, perfectly cooked, very tender.nThe stracciatella was excellent, house made pasta, nicely cooked and good flavors.nThe tiramisu, and the gelato were both great items to finish off the meal.nnHighly recommend Passo. Well done to the chef and his team, the front of house team, and the bar man, all combined to make this a great night out.
Amending this review as this was really our only negative experience in 5 years. Very disappointing of course and communication should have been better if they were struggling to fulfil orders that evening. However, the pizza here is proper Italian pizza. It’s delicious. Order a family sized one for takeaway and you’ll easily feed 2-3 adults or 4 kids. It’s thin crust pizza with just the right amount pf crunch and pull, and toppings are on point too. So to sum up, by far the best pizza in Kapiti, and probably as far south as Wellington. Communication on busy nights should be better.nnThe pizza is amazing. BUT we’ve ordered delivery tonight and it’s 2 hours after ordering. Not good at all. Should be free at this rate! Pizza is cold and different sizes. And how much pasta for $15?! Unacceptable!!
I'm not sure what happened to this pizza but it was not what I was expecting. I ordered a family size volcano with olives.nThe pizza was onetime to the second but cold and there was no olives, I think the salami fell off during the delivery from our space. In the end I cooked something for dinner and had it for a lunch the next day. Check out the photo and spot the olive or salami for that matter.nOn the upside the pear & walnut salad was unusually good.nVery poor guys.
Called for a last minute booking and they managed to fit us in. BEST PASTA and tiramisu I've ever had out before. Generous portions that weren't over filling or over priced. Amazing server Namita always wearing a smile and very hospitable, so welcoming. Will definitely be coming back
Love it! Always surprise me with the daily special dishes! They just taste so good and I always willing to dine here even tho I gotta drive half an hour here
