The Shroom Room is one of my go-to spots. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere has that laid-back, comfortable feel. They’ve got tasty food with lots of choices, both on the menu and in the cabinet, and they’re great at catering to different dietary needs. Saturdays are my favourite time to visit—there’s live music in the courtyard, and sometimes buskers from the Lyttelton Market pop by. It’s a nice place to kick back and enjoy the weekend.
So delicious! Great vibe! Was quite busy when we went near closing and seemed like lots of people were enjoying the yummy kai in the sun. Lots of good options, was hard to decide what to get. 10/10 can recommend
I wish I could stop time and grow ten more stomachs so I could sit here for a few days and try everything on the menu. It's a magical sunshine garden spot with reggae, good vibes, and good coffee on tap. Instead of table numbers, you get pictures of iconic rockstars like Bowie and the Beatles. Try the garlicky vegan shrooms!!!
The best mushrooms I've ever eaten. Delish. Great mushroom latte as well. I love the atmosphere and the decor as well.
Excellent experience during 1st visitnnI had been to Lyttelton many times but didn’t know about this place, till today. A friend who had been there before took us here, and we were pleased he did!nnThe simple exterior hide a charming place, which serves excellent food. We were a group of 7 and had 3 different vegetarian dishes.nnThe service was quick, and presentation nice and the quality and quantity of food excellent. What else can one ask for!nnThe table identifier markers are very unique. You will know what I mean when you visit.nnWe will certainly come back!
