Great food service and atmosphere will definitely be back and try the dinner menu
I went here for dinner about a week ago and was wonderfully surprised. Although they had mixed up our reservation they quickly sorted it out and the food was delicious, dessert was my favorite! Lovely waiters and also loved the local art work for sale around the restaurant.
Good quality food, the chef didn’t manage to make my steak a medium rare as I ordered. But anything else was quite good.
I don’t stay in the hotel but I do occasionally dine there. The food is basic, tasty and reasonably priced. I like the informality and friendliness of the staff.

The female waitress on Friday 9th October was outstanding, attentive, positive and happy The food was excellent will recomend to others, as we were by the hosts of Kowhai Rest, Kevin and Vicky.
