We go for the classic cars breakfast, first sunday of every month, 8.30am till 10.30am. Absolutely brilliant, anyone welcome, cool cars to see and a great buffet breakfast too. Absolutey recommend
Fantastic accommodation, like a home away from home. Immaculately clean, comfortable rooms. Gorgeous grounds and views. The hosts are lovely people who go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Very knowledgeable on the local area.nThe monthly Classic Rides breakfast is worth checking out - amazing selection of food for a fraction of what you'd pay elsewhere.nOh, and they are Dog friendly also! Our pup didn't want to come home!
What a fantastic place the views are surreal and great breakfast served by amazing hosts Jayne and Bruce always something to look, especially classic cars at the monthly breakfast 10/10 food was hot and great selection including hot and cold drinks. You guys are fabulous hosts and nothing is ever an issue u aim to please every single time. So thank you so much for what you do
We stayed at The Reservation recently on our trip through the South Island and it became a highlight of our trip! The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a gorgeous view and farm animals penned nearby. The interior is clean, modern, and welcoming. The host Jayne was friendly, hard working, and accommodating! Breakfast was delicious! For any other celiac gluten free people out there - the host knows how to gluten free for Celiac and even has her own GF toaster! AMAZING!nnWe highly recommend staying at The Reservation. We loved that place and hope to go back someday. nnI attached a photo of the view from the grounds and the pet deer, Hazel.
The Reservation was everything and more promised on their website. Our room and all amenities were cosy, clean and had a feel of luxury. The breakfast was delicious and came with the very knowledgeable, hardworking and entertaining hostess, Jayne. She was the perfect host and so was her beautiful property with farm animals and birds, well kept garden and walkways. We would highly recommend this location to all visitors to Gore.
