No fuss Ramen shop. Of cos not quite like the ramen we're used to back home but works. The Takoyaki was great too. The Bao Bun could do with more seasoning and more pickled cucumbers though.Food: 3/5
I try vegan ramen everywhere I go, and The Ramen Shop in Wellington goes above and beyond! From two vegan ramen broth options mushroom shoyu or spicy miso, to vegan Kimchi, tofu bao, and a Mapo Tofu rice bowl, everything from the clean food to the ambiance and excellent service, keep coming back! Got Spicy Chicken Ramen $17.50. Served the meal within about 5 minutes of ordering. Delicious broth with capsicum, chicken mince, coriander, spring onion and noodles. Would definitely come again if I felt like ramen.Food: 5/5
Super delicious food. I'm not a big fan of noodles but this one changed my mind. I had the black garlic noodle soup and my wife had rice with tofu and eggplant. Both were superb. The place is also nice and in sync with Newtown's bohemian vibe. Also serves alcohol specially Japanese beer and sake.Food: 5/5
It was a feeling of being scammed. Replacing key ingredients with something coarse and making dishes overpriced do not justify your so-called fusion. I wonder if those ever tried out the quality authentic ramen would ever return…
Thank you Ramen Kings. We love you. Best ramen in Wellington in my humble opinion, we eat here weekly and cannot fault the food, atmosphere and service. Food is on the table so quickly and the menu is great top to bottom! From the extra noodle boys
Pretty average ramen. The pork was sub par but the noodles were nice. The broth was almost instant ramen like. Nice staff
The venue was overflowing with people so we had low expectations. The spicy chicken ramen was outstanding, karaage was tender and hot and the edamame topped it off for us. Great price, fast service. Will visit again.Food: 5/5
Cute little spot. Food pretty good although not the most complex broth I’ve ever had. Served very fast so not the place to go if you want to linger. Pork belly was delicious and I really enjoyed the pickles!
So happy to finally find some vegan ramen!!! 2 options available on the menu lovely!!
