Excellent hotel for the price offered. All the rooms are new and the finishing is to a very high standard. No reception but you don’t really need one. Only issue which is why 4 stars and not 5 is if you get a room upstairs, there is no lift and you have to lug your baggage up
Reasonably priced and in a nice area, just slightly away from the CBD but with restaurants locally. Limited supermarket options around but there is a Z petrol station for some groceries if you don't have a car. Rooms are comfy and new with smart TVs and large beds. Shower is good and water pressure excellent. Kitchenette is pretty good for basic meals and has all that you need for cooking a quick meal. Theres very limited parking round the back of the hotel. Room for 2 cars and one additional disabled parking spot. There is no reception but there is a number which is monitored for any questions. It's not ideal but you can resolve most stuff this way. No lift so stairs only if you are upstairs All in all a pleasant experience, but more of an Airbnb than a hotel.
Terrible experience at this hotel. My room was a claustrophobic cell with barely any light from one high window looking directly into the neighbouring window. Customer service/assistance was non-existent and the owner's clearly could care less once the booking was paid for. Much better options close by. No baggage storage or elevator.Rooms: 1/5
Would easily be one of the nicest places I have stayed at in a long time. Reasonably priced, close to town, super clean, warm and modern. Very quiet tooRooms: 5/5
Excellent rooms. Comfortable, modern. I'd definitely come back. Only thing missing was a nice lounge chair. TV was a little high.Rooms: 4/5
My partner and I recently spent three nights at The Parque Hotel and we loved every minute of it. The location was great, very central and close to everything we were doing, the service was fantastic with our room being made up each day and the facilities were brilliant. The booking process was extremely easy and checking in/out was no hassle. A very tidy and beautifully presented hotel at reasonable rates and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back here or recommend to anyone visiting Christchurch.
Really nice little hotel. Everything you need. Love that you just have a code to get in.. no keys or swipe cards to remember. Comfy, quiet and clean. A full length mirror in the room would be handy....
Had such a lovely stay at the Parque. When we rang to leave our bags somewhere as there isn’t a reception on site, they unexpectedly let us check in early as our room was ready and the room was beautiful and very clean. Big enough for two people and nice to have the little kitchenette. Shower pressure was amazing, the amenities were great and for what we paid it was stunning. Only small tiny improvement would be to put a proper curtain over the window as the roller blind let in some light at the edges. Perfect distance to be able to walk into town about 15-20 minutes but far enough away that there is no noise problems whatsoever. Would recommend to any friend staying in Christchurch
Just finished our stay at The Parque, the noise between rooms is very disappointing, we could hear everything from the room above us, my partner was unable to sleep much due to this noise, the TV was in a annoying spot as can’t sit in bed comfortably and watch it, don’t think we will be returningRooms: 3/5
Pros: -room was tidy and clean -booking process was simple Cons: -the walls are quite thin so you can hear people in other rooms -we had used a Grab One voucher that included a bottle of bubbly but we never got a bottle despite emailing them about it twice and receiving confirmation that they will put one in.
