The Ocean Chinese Restaurant

What is going on? I ordered for 515pm collection, my father is still waiting in the store for the order, its almost 6pm now!! You are not answering the phone either. Edit: I heard from my father that you had some staffing issues and an inspection at the same time. I improved the rating on this basis and that the food was really good!

The food was early and arrived very hot, 2nd te using will definitely be going back. Delivery person very pleasant and respectful.

They got multiple items on my order wrong. Delivered the meals, when notified of their mistake after I confirmed I'd opened the food they asked for their error dishes back in order for me to receive my correct order. They charged me full price for a Malaysian king prawn and chicken extra spicy rice with plain omelette ontop. Instead I got e king prawns non spicy rice no chicken in sight and a fried egg ontop....God only bless their sweet and sour chicken. It was the most useless £50 meal ever. I know where won't be receiving my loyalty going forward as I was offered a £2.00 discount only...absolutely useless.

The food in this place is ridiculous! I have ordered last night king prawn ho fun and roast duck butter fried. Finished almost half of the food and ending up with food poisoning. After 15-20 min start shaking and got diarrhea. When I called the restaurant, all I got is I’m sorry. I have requested refund or atleast we will make it right and send you something fresh. Sooo disappointed as I was buying food from here. Normally I don’t leave any bad reviews on any restaurant, I just never order again if I don’t believe it’s good. Please think twice before ordering from here.

Very impressed with food quality and taste. Ordered Tofu with vegetables, egg fried rice and shredded crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce with chilli. I fully recommend this take away.

I made a mistake to try this takeaway. I ordered food for my family, none of us can finish it, not even half. The chicken had a funny taste, even the rice was not good. I bet any chinese who had a rice cooker at home can do better. I never leave review on a resturant before, I just feel I need to after this experience. Good luck.

Food completely inedible, chow mein chicken smelt funny and the chicken dumplings were in fact pork dumpling. Don't risk ordering from here, you could end up getting really unwell. We threw everything in the bin except the chips. Dietary restrictions: Asked for chicken and was delivered pork.

Not any good. Tasteless noodles, rice overcooked full of soya, salt and pepper chicken wings a lump of crudely batter. Cheap and ok if you are drunk .

Nice prawn toast and even better special fried rice..my thursday treat

Lovely food, good variety of choice, good customer service, I paid £25 for prawn fried rice, s&s chicken balls, a chicken curry and spare ribs...not bad, I'd say and it was banging!!!
