The most delicious food and coffee. The prawn and scallop salad, was a delight, the coffee was smooth and delicious and the service was really friendly. I will be back! Yum

Happened to stop here on a whim on our way up to Paihia. I had a toasted sandwich and my wife had a BLT and they were both superb. Was very glad I stopped here. Was that good I almost ordered another. Plenty of other varied menu options too, as well as pies, cakes and drinks. Also had veggie options. Service was quick and friendly. Well worth a stop. Sometimes there is a hidden gem between the big food franchises. This is it. We stop here for breakfast every weekend on our bike ride north. FABULOUS! The food is delicious every time and the service is great. 5 stars!

Reviewing this again, it is back to being brilliant. The last time we visited the chef just must have had a bad day. Saturdays meals were great, just as we have come to expect. Moved it up to 5 stars ***** Have to review this cafe today, I was extremely dissappointed with the meal from our previous visits. Therefore I have changed the stars from 5 to 3, purely based on today's experience. The crispy calimari wasn't crispy at all. In fact the coating was soft and not at all inticing, I just couldn't eat and enjoy this meal this time! I always ask for, as we did again this time, for the sauces to be supplied on the side. However both the aioli and chilli was smothered all over the food, the waitress commented that the chef must have missed her instruction, which I seriously question as being correct. Very poor experience from what we have had previously. ***** Just can't beat this place for calimari and chips, as I have said before you can have it with salad but I request just chips. However they provide far too many chips. The chili dip is spot on, the right amount of heat, aioli is okay as well, but could do without it though, tomato sauce if you want it. ***** Returned again, for an extremely satisfying lunch, and I repeat my earlier comments, has to be the best calimari ever, cooked to perfection. Also as before, they do never skimp on the potato fries, well drained, cooked spot on. We will return, and good excuse to get cheap petrol from the Mobil service station as well. ****** Had the best ever calimari, with chips instead of salad and too many chips to eat, perfect meal. The coffee with the meal was excellent. This outlet gets very busy, you might have to wait, which is an indicator of how good it is. A must if you are going through Wells Ford, and want a very good meal. We went back again last week, had the same lunch, with exactly the same result, first class for a local cafe. Service is great

Convenient spot. Staff and people are friendly with efficient service. Always has music playing in the background which is always nice to have a lot of places don't even do this. Food is of a good quality and fairly priced.

Value for money! I wish that their big burger pattie would spend a little more time on the pan or grill. Then I'll give it a 5 star rating for food.Food: 4/5
