Small place but nice coffee shop, you can have many options for sweets and savouries. Good coffee and cakes. Price is OK.
Great pies, and donuts, and cakes. But you want to get in, in the morning to get the pies at good quality, and the best selection. I'm on a mission to review every pie in the cabinet and I think only one left to go. See Big AL's Food Reviews on Facebook for more detailed reviews
Such a cool little cafe! Loved their coffee beans/ground coffee with some awesomely funny descriptions :D Beautiful pies and sweet treats. Can't wait to visit again when in Christchurch!
Pretty great actually, had 2 cakes and a hot chocolate. The cake was pretty moreish, willl definitely be back for more . Nice side of town to visit. Lovely weather.
Great coffee here. Pies are good too when they're fresh.
The bread roll with crispy chicken was nice but abit hot,abit spicy had a pottle with lamington and strawberry sauce would of been great if it wasn't mock cream yuk.custard square lovely.Coffee absolutely delicious,not to bad in price either have to get there early to try the menu
Wow. Went there at around 3.30pm brought a sausage roll very dry and chewy pastry also lady behind counter had a poor attitude. Do not recommend and won't be back.
Lovely freshly baked food. I bought a savoury cheese loaf. Really enjoyed eating with soup. I heated the portions in my little toast and grill oven..thd loaf dissappeared very quickly.
That will be the last time I eat those pies. If I had wanted a gravy pie I would have asked for one. Three pieces of meat, one piece grissle, and very doughie Please open again Burwood bakery.
