Awesome place to go with very fair admission charges. Tram is great. Good to see and learn about transportation and technology. Thinking of getting a family annual pass
Definitely worth going, especially for the annual Christmas lights. When they run the machinery, it’s pretty cool, and it’s right next to the zoo, so why not make a day of it? There’s also a vintage-looking tram for the kids or adults, no judgment to ride on.
The kids loved it, so many interactive exhibits and staff were really informative in a fun way. The kids enjoyed listening to them..
The Motat 2020 Christmas lights were brilliant. The highlight however had to be the Christmas Carols in the village. Great atmosphere, and all the visitors were in good spirits. Get there early to avoid the large lines!
Great lights display. Reasonable entry fee which was good to see. Value for money this time round. Security guy at the trams was rude and unprofessional! Christmas carolling and music was missing which would have topped it up nicely.
My kids love this place, we visit it regularly as they setup new exhibitions quite often and for weekend events that they run 1-2 times per month
