​This is a fantastic large-scale park in Christchurch with exceptionally well-equipped playground facilities that cater to children of all ages.n​The water play area is highly popular and a great way to cool down during the hot summer months. The park also provides free electric BBQ plates for public use, making it an excellent spot for families to unpack, relax, and let the kids burn off some energy for the afternoon.
The most playful place in Christchurch. My family really enjoyed stying here. It is located just beside the river we could watch so many birds and picnic area was absolutely fantastic. Every kids were happy and played together with smile. Lovely place lovely time.
Amazing day out at Margaret Mahy Family Playground. The kids didn’t want to leave. Huge slides, water play, climbing nets, and plenty of space for a picnic. Well maintained and perfect for all ages. Definitely a must visit in Christchurch
What an incredible park! There is something to do for everyone. We could spend hours here. It gets a little busy around 5pm before sunset, but the kids are all friendly and play together. We love the zip line and the big slides!
Absolutely wonderful playground. Lots of play areas. A water and sand area. Swings. Zip line. Big slides. Fun walls to climb.
