We believe He wants you to encounter life - in His Light!

Story

The Light - Devonport is an alive church for all ages with a focus on encountering Jesus, contemporary worship, and a friendly atmosphere. We know that God loves you and wants to awaken all people to live the best life possible - in His Light.

Our main meeting is held on Sundays at 10am, 90a Victoria Rd. We have an exciting children's church and youth church breakouts that runs during the morning.

We believe:

- the Bible is God's word, relevant and infallible.
- that God exists as one being in the three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
- that God is a loving and just Father, holy, merciful and true.
- that Jesus death on a cross, and subsequent resurrection, was God's gift of life
for everyone who will put their trust in Him.
- in the power of the Holy Spirit to miraculously change, heal and transform peoples lives.
- that any follower of Christ is called to be a minister of God's love, truth and power in whatever sphere of society.

The Light is a member of the CRC Churches of New Zealand.
