The Baha'i Faith is an independent world religion. Its central theme is that humanity is one family and that the time has come for its unification into a peaceful global society. Founded in Iran in 1844 the Baha'i Faith has approximately seven million followers worldwide. Baha'is come from all backgrounds and can be found in virtually every country on earth. Since its establishment in New Zealand in 1913, the Baha'i Faith has spread to all cities, and most towns and rural areas.
