Cowboys contractors who will leave you out of pocket and cause more damage that fixing anything.  We contacted John  back in Jan 2021 to have a roof repaired on a section of our home. He recommended it be stripped and reinstalled.  The reviews for the company were really good so my husband and I thought we would commit.  John required part payment upfront £1800 for buying materials and paying his “crew”.  They got to the stage where they stripped it off completely. Then the bad weather hit with really bad rain etc. He used Tarp to conceal the area however was unable to do this competently so the interior of our home was being destroyed the area was flooding to the point my husband had to sweep water out. Funnily enough he would come and “readjust” it etc.  On contacting John to find out when he would be back he would say “due to covid my staff aren’t working etc” and he would often get aggressive with my husband text message evidence basically he NEVER returned  Whilst removing our roof John never put up any scaffolding and instead him and his team stood on our storage boxes breaking them in the process and damaging their contents and use ladders. Baffling really.  Doubt we will ever see our money again  We had to get new contractors in to finish what he started: who say the materials that were purchased were of cheap quality and they would never use.
