Ali & Phil invite you to Murchison to relax & chill after tramping the Abel Tasman/Nelson Lakes or to be adventurous going kayaking or white water rafting on the Buller Gorge. Our small, homely hostel has sun decks, BBQ’s and a lovely garden to enjoy in the summer and cosy log fires and electric blankets to keep you warm during colder seasons. And if you're just tired of eating pasta all the time go for one of Ali’s very yummy home made suppers or spoil yourself to a legendary Sticky Date Pudding. You sure won't regret it. ;)

This is one awesome shared accommodation. The kitchen is superbly maintained. Being Indian vegetarian I was bit apprehensive hut it turned out to be a great place. Morning views are awesome.
Very friendly welcoming and extremely informative and helpful with tourist suggestions and advice, great location and even enjoyed a good brekkie. The pizzas from their restaurant are delicious too

Thanks for the clean room, bedding, toilet and bathroom. It has good facilities, friendly people and like a home. As the kitchen shares the same space, the living room is oily and smelly after cooking though.
Lazy cow accomodation is clean tidy well maintained hygenic and bubly backpacker. A group of 5 of us stayed in two rooms, the rooms were spacy, comfortable. The hallroom offered a lot of recreational board games. Kitchen is full of quick bites and utensils if you like to CYOM. Full points to Sumika hosting the place.

Great hostel, feels like a home. The bathroom and the bedroom looked really new and were super clean. The restaurant next to the hotel was really nice too and from the same owner. We had dinner there two nights in a row and it was great. Thank you for everything
Nice cozy hostel in Murchison, there's a bar and Cafe just next door. Beds are comfortable and water is hot
Amazing accomodation, feel like at home, very cozy and lovely !! Highly recommend!!
