The Landing Cafe

Great cafe in this area. Banana bread top notch and the mince pie was awesome filled with a bolognese kinda mince was a nice surprise. Staff are super friendly. And the coffee was good. Has loads of cabinet food and had a menu aswell. Next to the information centre. Didn't try the Thai food which I'm gutted about.

Delicious pies with Thai spiced fillings. Great pastry and lots of filling. The fresh spring rolls and passion fruit slice were delicious too. Beautiful view looking out to sea. The large coffees come in nice mugs. Very satisfying to drink.

A handful of mixed salad and three thin slices of smoked salmon $22. Rip off. Not even a slice of bread came with it.

Varied service from staff, initial staff member was not helpful, over priced, poor quality food - poached eggs were hard, chicken was dry and the toasted croissant came with splattered tomatoes sauce. So disappointed

Very disappointed after hearing so many good views. Awful service, staff rushed, no knowledge of menu. Noisy staff made it hard to hear the conversation at our table

A nice cafe in Opononi providing waterfront views from the deck. The food is usual cafe food. It's a nice place to take in the views on a nice sunny day while sipping on a coffee.
