Mango Tango cocktail was delicious and food was good too. Only things I noticed were that it didn’t quite feel like value for money. For example I paid to add chicken to my pizza, but it didn’t feel like they added very much. My Dad got a meat pizza and there was also very little chicken on it. And for dessert my Dad got 2 scoops of ice cream but again it felt like a very small portion for the price. It was also a very hot day and there aren’t any fans or air conditioning so it was a bit hard to enjoy the meal because of how hot it was. Service was great though and the food came out very quickly.
We’ve had the BEST pizza in NZ here so far! It's a lovely restaurant with a unique history and good food. It's a must-visit when in Lincoln. Be aware that they’re not open every night.
Really cool spot! Heaps of tables indoors and outdoors, by the fire or upstairs for people watching. A fair few gluten free options and staff said the fried chicken could be cooked in the gluten free fryer. There was also a cool little cinema.
Food is always SO delicious, very quick and friendly service too!! We got the carne and the jalapeño cheese pizzas, the hand cut fries + aioli, and the Lab Sundae. The Lab makes THE BEST chips out of anywhere I have gone- by a MILE, no close competition at all, whole family agrees. Gets pretty busy so definitely book ahead! Will always return here for a fantastic dinner, cannot recommend this place enough.
Service was dreadful. Yes - we were shown to our reserved table straight away, and were told someone would be over to take our order. Waited a while until someone came to take our drinks order; and that was the last we saw of them. Eventually one of our party went to the bar and ordered our food and asked where our drinks were. Drinks turned up shortly after and the pizzas arrived promptly. Don’t bother waiting for table service. Just choose from the menus on the table and order at the bar
