Oh my gosh. What an amazing place!! We came here a few times before adopting a dog, and we decided to go in Saturday with our new Pup and sit on the patio. We did not know they were dog friendly. And saying they are dog friendly is an understatement in and of itself. We were sitting on the patio and a young boy asked if dogs were allowed inside and in my head, I thought….you’re dreaming … and mid-thought, the beautiful woman I can only assume was the owner said “yes, of course!” I was stunned. They have a full menu for dogs, which is outrageously affordable, and they make your pup feel like they are the star of the show. For non-dog owners, I would like to make it clear that we have come here many times prior to pup ownership and thoroughly enjoyed the Carbonara, Margarita Pizza, as well as Guinness on tap and great mocktails. It’s not like dogs are running wild - there are rules. And while our pup enjoyed her meatballs from the dog menu, this is a genuine go-to for Hamiltonians with or without dogs. I watched the owner and how she was and then appreciated how her staff were with guests. This is the kind of place that is Kiwi owned and operated by people with good heart. Also, the service staff outside of management is sways stellar. Well. Done.
The staff are absolutely awesome and the food is good. We got put in a little room off the main floor and it was amazing. I’m autistic so very much appreciated being in a space that was slightly quieter and less overstimulating. The staff didn’t know this but it still contributed to a great evening!nHighly recommend the baked brie and honey bread!
Drove from Auckland to visit the Christmas Bar and it was well worth the trip! So much thought has gone into the decorations, the staff were amazing and the food and drink was delicious High recommended!
Absolutely loved this place! I’d heard so many great things from friends and finally got to experience it for myself — and it did not disappoint. We went for Mother’s Day, and it was such a beautiful experience. The service was exceptional, especially from Megan, who went above and beyond to make sure we were well-fed, happy, and smiling the whole time. Highly recommend!
