Lunch on Sunday which happened to be a beautiful spring day plus it was Father’s Day so it was busy.nFirst time here, booked on line which was easy. Very nice service from staff and the pork belly for me plus moo burger my husband had was also very nice.nWould definite recommend and we will be back with family from the UK in Nov when they are over. A great pub lunch so thanks to chef and all who served us.
Thanks to the Jolly crew for making my daughter’s 21st such a special occasion. Your customer service was outstanding and you made sure the night ran smoothly. The food was delicious and everyone had the best time. 10/10 for a function venue! Cheers guys
What a Gem! Seen reviews so had to try it. I had Beef Short Ribs & our friend had Pork Belly the wife had Calamari Salad.nI look for quality produce - value for money - cleanliness and great service. The food came very quickly and we were not disapointed it was really nice. My beef fell off the bone and the flavours were so good. The pork belly looked great and got thumbs up from our friend. I will be back to give the pork belly a try. This place is worth the drive from Wellington. Give it a go. They cater for large groups and have a great outdoor area. 5 stars guys. Well done
Agree with all the reviews below what a gem indeed. This place has the x-factor going on! We dined for lunch and enjoyed the sirloin steak meal. Steak was quality and cooked med-rare, the jus, mash, seasonal vege - everything was tasty can’t forget the butternut puree was delish. Customer service was excellent- very attentive. Well done Jolly Pub we will be back!!
Hey unfortunately this is our local and we took the kids for a school holiday sundae which was in a glass not a bowl and decided to buy an expresso Martini for the adults, last time I had one from the male server it was amazing a couple of weeks ago, I guess I should have known better when the woman serving said shenHas never made one before sb a warning sign because it really was horrible she said she doesn’t drinknThem either perhaps could learn from the male who makes the cocktails is recommended, I forced myself to drink mine but felt sick andnWe gave back the full glass to her and saidnIt’s not good and far toonMuch cinnamon plus too bitter not creamy ornDrinkable, she told us that’s just a matter of taste when she charged us 16 bucks for itnAnd didn’t offer a refund or a diffnDrink to have instead , worst experiencenAnd customer service, I won’t be coming back with my partner for dinner or rugby after that terrible service, I wouldn’t have written a bad review of the woman today had been nicenAnd respectful to the customers wishes and seriously don't make them if you don’t know how is recommended.
