We really enjoyed a pizza and beers at this establishment. We had a very tasty hazy and the pizza was perfect. The atmosphere was extremely comfortable, from a family with two kids to a few old dudes, to a couple of lovers and a group of young girls....everyone seemed very welcome. A major factor in this atmosphere was provided by the young ladies doing the waiting. They were very homely like the daughter you never had. I feel they pulled it all together. Top notch wait stuff in my mind are the major cog in the wheel. If the great food and delicious beer was served by a surly, unsatisfied wait staff, the experience would be ruined. Keep up the good work, it will be our loss if we don't make it back.
Salty's was recommended to me as the best burger joint in Paraparaumu and it didn't fail to deliver. A great place for a greasy burger in a good way.nnLiked the option for a half beer and wish they had that for the cocktails too.nnOnly minus a star because it was pretty cold without any heaters.
Really nice food and good portions to share with friends and family. Easy going spacious place with live music in the evenings. Service was spot on and the good arrived quickly and it was busy as. Many people outside enjoying the weather and a beer, we loved playing the pinball machines. Give this place a go, but book for popular nights and times. We walked in no problem round 6pm, but I was informed that any later on a Friday we wouldn't have had a table. Great asset for Paraparaumu Beach.
What a find this place is! Went here based on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Excellent, attentive service and an awesome atmosphere. Proper old school diner, retro pinball machines and amazing food across the menu. Tried the tacos and quad smash burger + the famous buffalo tenders... wow! 5 - we will be back with a group next time. Thanks team!
Dumb idea to get rid of the pinball machines and stop selling burgers from the 1950s burger truck! Felt way more authentic when we were there last year. Feels like new owneritis. Staff were really nice though.
