We love Honeyfund! The process to set up an account is so easy and it has helped so much with getting information out to our guests about our wedding, highly recommend!!
The site was great when I opened it but now you have to jump through hoops so get your donations. I'll definitely be telling the rest of my friends and family to send directly to my PayPal or some other way.
The honeyfund service allowed my guest to gift us the items of our choices. Their customer service is impeccable. They are always willing to help. God Bless you all!
Honeyfund has been a great service. Our guests were able to give easily and safely. We were able to have our dream Honeymoon come true!!
It’s an ok service with the wedding website and helping you collect funds for a honeymoon, but the fees when transferring the money to my bank took away from the gift, especially larger monetary gifts. I think using CashApp and it’s QR code would have been a much better option or asking for cash in hand. Overall, if you’re using this to collect only monetary gifts I would NOT recommend this service.
Honeyfund has been wonderful. I don’t know yet how easy it will be to retrieve the monetary gifts we have received but the experience and beauty of honeyfund has been great up to this point.
Honeyfund was great! It was so easy to add all of the items I wanted from all the different places, and my guests had no trouble navigating it either. I love that you can have dedicated “cash” gift options too, so you can share with your guests what you plan to use the money for!
We are pleased so far with Honeyfund! It has been easy to set up and use. Our guests have not expressed any issues with it. It’s perfect for couples who don’t need a lot of household items or are planning a fairly large sized wedding.
I had great expectations for Honeyfund. The appearance was great and I thought it was a great idea to share my link with my wedding guests, however it was NOT user friendly and because of this we LOST out on money bigtime. First of all it is a bad idea that the monetary options were not editable the choices $50, $150 and $250 are not ideal and are in fact LESSER than a typical wedding gift. Although you could go in and put in your own amount there was a glitch that wasn't clear you had to click outside of the box after inputting amount and then complete order, if you went straight to "complete order" it wouldn't work, i.e. NOT user friendly. Only a handful of people at the wedding used the website...which was confusing to me at first. However I found out later that several people THOUGHT they had successfully given a gift but DID NOT. So only the very thorough people who went back to check it was processed realized, but many people have not figured it out and have therefore not given a gift although they meant to the night of!!!. So now I am in this awkward position of deciding whether to let my guests know there was an issue and check "did they really mean to give a gift or not...". I can't bring myself to ask people and honestly its a complete disaster, with us potentially losing out on thousands of dollars. I can't do anything about it and I wish I never used Honeyfund :
The honeyfund turned out to be a great thing. It made it really easy for our guests and that was our intent. I had a little trouble with it in the beginning. It wasn't as user-friendly to customize as I would have liked. However with the assistance of customer service I got the hang of it enough. I wish I had found it earlier than I had so I could have understood all it had to offer. As it was, I was so busy putting on the wedding that I didn't realize what I could have done with this site until after we had come home from the honeymoon.
