Amazing place! Right in the centre of Ohakune and only 20min from Turoa Ski field!nnThis is our go to place when we go skiing. Rooms are very clean and tidy.nnWiFi is fast and the Smart TV are great for movies nights after a long day of carving up the slopes.nnThere is also the convenience of EV charging!nnBut the biggest reason why we come back is the service. Amazing hospitality. Always welcoming and always friendly.nnHighly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in OhakunennSee you again soon!
Fantastic and friendly service. The spa was a great way to end the day. Loved the electric blanket and the room was nice and cosy when we arrived. The kitchen was a little small but met our needs. Would definitely go again, great value.
The Hobbit was perfect for our midweek skiing break. The room had everything we needed: warm, clean and spacious with a great shower. The kitchen was well equipped and the large knife was sharp! Michelle, our host, was lovely - friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay again.
Great experience, 6 person room with great heating, free spa, good kitchen showers and facilities. Great shout for a place to stay on a budget and the owners are very helpful, they took our calls at 10pm and helped us get to our room. Free parking.
Hi team, thanks for having us. Great location and theme. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our stay this time as the bathroom, especially the toilet, was visibly dirty. This would have definitely been noticed if simple inspection had been done by the cleaners, which leads me to believe that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned at all which then naturally makes everything feel dirty.nnWas not a nice experience especially for my pregnant wife.nnI would rate this as cheap accommodation and good value money, but be prepared to get what you pay for.nnCheers
