This is a really down to earth place with great people! Try the root beer shot! It's interesting : The decor is fun to look at and there is a lot of history - the people here always have good stories to tell. A great place to listen to some music and have a beer!
How do you start a review for the best bar in the US. Fair prices and a great mix of tourist and locals. Make it a point to go to the 5:30PM sound check for the band playing that night. By the way, turn around and look out towards the street at sound check, you never know what you’ll see.

Always a super fun stop. Since we're Monday thru Thursday types the Green Parrot is always our Monday evening stop - BINGO for charity. What could be at having a great time while supporting a good cause in the Keys? The staff has always been really hard working and can fill all the orders at the bar even when the place is full.
Make sure one your way to Hemingway's House or the southern most point of the US to stop at the Green Parrot. It's awesome!!! And for goodness sakes, try a Root Beer Barrel. Worth everything that is Key West. You won't be disappointed.
Great local bar, nothing fancy here, this is a great stop during the day or night. If you are looking to have a cold beer or drink and you want to talk or watch the game. This is your place. At night there are some great bands, very lively and you can have a good time.
Not just my favorite bar in Key West, but one of my top 10 nationally! Green Parrot is a reprieve from the crazies on Duval and a sanctuary for the weird and wonderful. Great juke box, but the live music is really what you want to check out. Saw a solid jazz band which was welcome change up from the cover bands that proliferate Key West bars. Easy going staff and regulars to strike conversation with.
Great music. If you're looking for the original Key West, here you are... Really old bar, good drinks, great decorations. Staff is awesome and non pretentious. Especially Micaela.
Great spot for ice cold beer and some free popcorn!! We really enjoyed this place!! I love that this place has so much history and character!! Cant wait to come back!!
Great local bar with plenty of local beers available. The musical talent can oftentimes be great! An Allman Brothers Revue band played there over the weekend.
