The George Cafe

Had my daughters 21st lunch at this beautiful place yesterday afternoon, which went exceptionally well thanks to all the staff that ran around making sure that all meals came at the same time etc 18 attended...and everyone was looked after.. Honestly never had a function go so smoothly. Even had a chef as a guest , and her comments in regards to the standard of meals presented are today still being talked about. So to everyone there especially the ladies tending to the tables...Fantastic job! Thanks everyone.

Hands down best restaurant in the area. The food was so delicious and well presented. Chef Yaseer went out of his way to explain the menu to us for our special food requirements. Very welcoming and professional. Definitely would recommend it to anyone want to have delicious food.

I took my friend for a belated birthday dinner. We both ordered Moroccan lamb. 1/4 to 1/3 of the meat was delicious, the rest was inedible fat and gristle. The beans were only just edible, the broccoli perfectly cooked. The carrots were so raw when I tried to cut one it flew off the plate and landed under a chair. $38 for a tablespoon of lamb, some mash and broccoli is a total rip off and we will never come back. A place I thought I never thought I would end up eating in, a retirees gated estate. George’s cafe staff were very welcoming and accommodating, the coffee was nice and the food was great! Myself and my grandmother both ordered the Eggs Florentine they very substantial with great flavour. The meal was served atop homemade potato Rosti which was the star of the dish! The whole experience was great and the $$$ prices were very reasonable. If you get the chance go and check it out.

Food was incredible. Prices are insanely good. Only qualm is the service was kinda not as nice as I usually get at cafes but that is probably cause it's actually a restaurant, not a cafe. It's not the usual like warm cafe vibe. It's very stunning to look at and a waitress serves you at your table. They should change the name. I showed up well under dressed for it haha.

Excellent food and service. We came in for dessert just as the kitchen was closing but they made us feel very welcome, and the dessert was amazing! Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids, and they even gave them some lollipops to take home. Parking: Plenty of car parks out front and more a short walk away. Wheelchair accessibility: Single level with no steps. Plenty of room between tables inside.

Good meal just a pity the whole table of 8 was not plated at the same time. Both for the main and dessert 2 of our party were waiting while the rest of the table finished their course. Shame really.

5 of us went for lunch.had dry old pizza cheese cake ok. But staff need to learn to smile felt we were in a morgue.shame nice surroundings but we wont be back
