"The Gallery Havelock is a unique community based non profit trust set up to showcase Marlborough artists. The Gallery opened it’s doors in October 2014 and today features 24 Marlborough artists covering many art mediums. The Gallery is open every day 10 - 4pm, except Good Friday, October 14 to celebrate our volunteers, Christmas Day and ANZAC Day morning, and is manned by dedicated volunteers. Profits from the Gallery are given back to the community supporting organizations like St John Ambulance, Volunteer Fire brigades, Rescue Helicopter and giving grants for art lessons and field trips for local school students."
