Went for my son’s chosen place for his birthday. First time there. Wasn’t too bad. Youngest son rates his burger 1st pinkie winkie drink 2nd and chips 3rd thought it was all good. Mussel were really good all the boys liked them. Squid was good still had that film thing on it but that doesn’t really bother me. Good presentation for all. My 14yo loved his lamb shoulder which is lucky for 40 something dollars. We were all so full couldn’t fit desert in.nWould’ve been nice with some music but I talked to them and they said that was all being sorted out soon so that’s nice.nOur waiter Ryan was really great. Food came out pretty quick too. I really look forward to taking the family back there again. So easy and must be the best spot position in Masterton. It really does have a good feel to it.
We came for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was lit up and welcoming as we arrived.nnThe service was friendly and welcoming to match, the meals especially the burgers were large and tasty, the kids had something to colour in and a suitable menu. The decor was consistent with the farrier theme and nicely done.nnWould happily repeat. For where it sits in the dining out market, it delivered well.
Blown away by the delicious food. Those chips! And the burgers! Everyone loved their meal. Plenty of parks and easy access and parking for campers.
Superb place for a drink or meal with friends and family.nnTook the kids here and while they enjoyed their kids menu I was flabbergasted at the sheer size of my chicken burger.nnThankfully it was delicious, as was the kids pizza.nnSpacious and modern - spotted at least four separate areas to hangout - I can imagine the place is heaving when busy, and based on the quality of the food and service I’d say that happens pretty regularly.nnEven the toilets were awesome!
Service good as was atmosphere. My concern was asking for a gluten free pizza advertised on the menu, but initially the chef refused to cook the pizza, didn't want to take responsibility. In the end he cooked it, unfortunately it was quite bland.
