Nice location by the water. It was a super hot day so an umbrella would have been welcome. We ordered two salads which were not bad except the chicken was really dry. We would probably not revisit as the food was not anything special and the milkshake was basically a frozen chocolate drink so very watery. We had our puppy with us in the outdoor area and went for a nice walk by the river after lunch
This place serves good, fresh, simple food at a good price. The service is quick and really friendly. Nice location by the river which can be enjoyed if you sit outside.
Nice spot with a great view out over the Mahurangi River which is a tidal estuary that widens into the Mahurangi Harbour ... In the past, the river was the main link between the town of Warkworth and the rest of civilisation.
Nice cafe with.a good selection of sandwiches,cakes etc. to compliment a good cup if coffee. Good view over the river and the steamboat enthuiasts.
Warkworth is a lovely place - if you like shopping. But for me, the real attraction is the river. The Riverview Cafe gives me a chance to sit quietly and contemplate the river - and drink coffee. That's enough for me.
