Hade breakfast here and it was very good. I did the eggs Benedict and they make there own holandés that was very tasty! Coffee was good as well.
Firstly impressed with the coffee decoration, very clever, secondly the breakfast was one of the tastiest and nicely presented we've had. Bacon and eggs to perfection as were the blueberry pancakes. Double yum. Will definitely be back when we are in the area. Thanks for a very pleasant start to the day!
Dropped in for lunch after a little Op Shopping. Very nice Eggs Bene with mushrooms on lightly toasted ciabatta. Delicious mocha & the best carrot muffin I've tasted. Never disappoints this little gem cafe.
Staff were really fantastic, unfortunately the breakfasts let you guys down, we each had something different, the portion sizes were very disappointing and the extras we ordered were in no way value for money. Please change to real butter, not "spread". Get better bread please. Coffee was good, deli food looked good. Step up your game because there are cafes in Warkworth doing better, I hope you take this as helpful review
Must have caught this cafe on a bad day today as I usually rate them highly. Arrived just after 2pm and was told in a very abrupt manner by young lady serving that kitchen was closed. That's all good no worries - made a selection from cabinet Once again young lady serving was very abrasive and not friendly at all - also ordered a cake, was not given choice of yoghurt or cream - again all good. Veggie patty was really dry and not enjoyable. Think that staff member could possibly benefit from a course in customer service or at least learn to smile and be friendly. Not particularly impressed today
Excellent coffee and afghan biscuit for morning tea this morning. My wife raved about her mocha especially and enjoyed the ginger crunch. Nice and open atmosphere and friendly service.
Called in for a quick breakfast. I asked for a pot of tea and a poached egg on toast. The chap on the till repeated what I thought was my order ..English not clear..The tea came and was fine. later followed a great plate of what looked like Aubergine on a fritter with strips on bacon.. When I queried he argued about it. So I abandoned the meal, and went across the road and got exactly what I ordered, and it came with a smile that made my day after a bad start. . Have to give one * to be able to post a review, but I wont be going back.
Looks so promising from the outside but is a let down. 1. Ordered two coffees, only one was made as the staff weren't listening. 2. Coffee received wasn't what was ordered. Instead of making a fresh one, they just poured a coffee shot into the cup which meant the taste was off. 3. Both coffees were lukewarm. 4. If you need to go to the bathroom, you have to use the public ones at the Information Centre down the road.
Good food, coffee really good. Friendly staff, very happy
Really enjoyed the service, staff were friendly and we was in a bit of a hurry and the man understood and sorted our coffee, which was admazing! , and made our few minutes we had very enjoyable. Thanks Ginger cafe.
