If I could give zero stars I would.nBooking an appointment for my 4 year old and spoke with receptionist Sandra who was very rude. She told me off for not calling at 8am said no appointments today call back tomorrow at 8am.nnWhere is the duty of care? I phoned back and made an appointment for the earliest date April 3 weeks time and asked why there was no questions asked to me about what was going on with my child, no appointment offered, no nurses call offered. She said you have to ask for that.nnWhen I said she was rude, she cut me off and said I was rude and hung up.nnI am baffled, I know the heath care system is broken but service like this is the reason vulnerable people fall through the cracks.nnRecommend customer service training for Sandra.
I would like to give a big shout out to the receptionists and Doctors at Silverstream Dr's. We have been patients there for 8 years and can't thank them enough for all the attention we have received.nSuch a shame when you read reviews that are negative. Patients need to realize the front line receptionists are not robots and can only do so much.nThank-you once again to all the staff at Silverstream Dr's. Had my depo provera shot today and the nurse was in such a rush, hardly waited for me to get ready for it and now I’m unable to put weight on that same legn-n-nUpdate** I then had to go to the hospital and was put on crutches for a week, didn’t get any form of apology. Didn’t even a response for upto 3 weeks. Workers have little to no empathy at all
I had a terrible experience with the receptionist. I was booked this appointment by my doctor in Lower Hutt. When you walk in to a doctor’s surgery, the first thing you typically do is go to the reception to let them know you’re there. When she couldn’t find my appointment she said “see that big sign over there”, pointing for an A3 piece of printer paper surrounded by dozens of other signs, saying that there is a seperate waiting room. Of course I didn’t see that before approaching the counter, and she was so rude about it. I can’t wait until I can get into another GP.
