The Curry Master Waiuku

I was in the area and saw curry master. Normally I go to the Birkenhead one and this one also was an excellent curry. Not likely that I will be in the area again but if I am I would get a meal here for sure. Great curry. Parking: It's right outside it.

We had Lamb Rahana chef's special and Fish Makhani tonight, which were awesome. The Chicken Korma we had last time was Divine. I was in heaven with every bite.

We ordered quite a fe dishes. Everything was really good. Highly recommend.

Online order - butter chicken and mango chicken. The order arrived promptly and everything was piping hot. The garlic nan is delicious and fresh, butter chicken was very sweet but still edible, my daughter and I felt a bit yuck after eating the butter chicken but this is quite common with the meal as it is very rich. Hubbie had mango chicken and he seemed to like it. Overall a decent exp and I’d buy from this place again. Maybe cut back on how much sugar is in the butter chicken though / very sweet

The best place in Waiuku for curry but seems to be a hit and miss sometimes. Tide was abit low on the butter chicken. Asked for mild to medium and just got mild.

1st and last time I'm ordering from the curry master Chicken Tika chicken overcooked and the coating was shocking, the batter on the vegetable pakora was like batter a batter from a fish and chip shop and was not crunchy at all we threw it all out. My Lamb Rogan Josh was extremely salty. My Wife's Butter Chicken was over cooked and dry.

Absolutely dreadful, ordered 3 butter chicken and butter naan. The chicken pieces were rubbery, I ended up spitting a piece out! The curry was tasteless and oozing water. The naan was plain, if there was butter like we had ordered we couldn’t find it. This is the second time we’ve ordered and the meals have been terrible. Will never go there again.

First time to try this Curry place and that will be the last. Ordered butter chicken and garlic naan. Butter chicken tasted watery and tasteless. Naan bread theres big junks of garlic on it. Tried to ring and they keep hanging up, what an awful experience from you guys. So now, we have to find something else for dinner.

A very nice man answered the call & was thoughtful about gluten/dairy/sugar free. My husband picked it up & he or the Chef had gone to the trouble of adding Coconut Cream. The taste was really good. The after taste not great for me as I have an allergy to Garlic not life threatening but it's not pleasant. Also the musky after taste was probably from aged garlic which can be unpleasant. But he was a really good cook & there was a lot of tender meat & the initial flavour was much better than other Indian restaurants so thought had obviously gone into the cooking & the mild dish was not Spicey! - Fantastic thanks, this is hard to get with most Indian takeaways in Auckland. I didn't think there would be garlic in the dish. So if you don't want Garlic - perhaps ask about this. Unsure if it is usually in the dishes or if he added it for flavour in our case - but I would have enjoyed it without the garlic. I would go back & ask for no Garlic so he gets to know his new customer that likes things plain. :
