Lovely old character cafe in the heart of Greenhithe.nStopped in for coffee and cake in the weekend.nIt was a gorgeous day so opted to sit outside and enjoy the sun.nLovely big grounds so good for young ones to run around and even a play ground to keep them busy.nSome of the plastic toys were so old and broken they should really be thrown out as they detracted from the look of the outside area a bit.
Stopped by after an open home visit and I came here looking for a cafe. Great coffee, my kids said the matcha latte and ice chocolate were the best they’ve had. A real hidden gems- We’ll be back!!
Lovely place for bench, especially with kids given the big outdoor play area. Is my favourite omelette by far, and the staff are always lovely.
The Collins is a local fave on the Shore!!nTheir food is always delicious, coffee is brewed to perfection, and the customer service is always friendly and fast.nI definitely recommend coming here for coffee and/or brunch, plenty of seating options both indoor and outdoor too.
This place used to be amazing but its clearly changed hands and gone downhill quite substantially. Went to grab a quick lunch with my family. We have a 5 year old who is allergic to eggs. There's 4 options on the kids menu at the Collins, 2 are egg based so obviously we avoided ordering those and go with a nice safe ham and cheese toasty with fries. When we ordered it we specifically said just cheese daughter isn't a fan of ham so they make a 'just cheese' toastie and bring it to us. Daughter takes a bite and says it tastes funny, thank God she refused to eat it because when we opened its got cheese AND AIOLI!! There is no mention if aioli on the menu, no allergen warning to be seen anywhere. I was furious! Do better The Collins, you are one anaphalactic child away from absolute disaster. I will not be back.
