Nice place to relax and enjoy a coffee while working or catching up with mates. Can get noisy at times but still the best cafe around. Below scores are out of 10 Customer Service 8 Food Quality 8 Atmosphere 8.5 Presentation 8 Location 8 Parking: Lots of parking available. Overall 8
I have been here before and I cannot recommend it enough. Friendly staff, quick service I did go during the day on. Wednesday and I have been on a busy day but still great food and reasonably priced. Vegetarian options: They have options for vegetarian and it caters towards them. Kid-friendliness: The seating is comfortable and there is space for kids to sit and enjoy Parking: There is a parking lot across the road from the restaurant and a space around the back near Mc Donalds Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wheelchair friendly and lots of space for manouverability.
Ruby who was the young lady that brought our order to us was so pleasant and helpful. She chatted quickly about our deaf boxer and then left only to return with some water for Flora.. Big thumbs up to how she did her job and a credit to her employer's.
Our coffees and the service were excellent but the spinach and ricotta sausage roll was awful, it was tasteless and very dry, almost inedible. We still love our Coffee Club Orewa and go there often. The bathrooms were very clean too
Undercooked fish & chips, I couldn’t eat half of it. Halloumi was barely cooked either. They were busy but ought to be able to cook their food properly.
We were nicely greeted by the owner himself Scott, there's definitely suttle upgrades since new management has taken over..and these are also towards the children..new mocka highchairs have replaced the cheap plastic ones..kids art section has stepped up..it feels much more family orientated. Before Scott introduced himself he offered our toddler a colouring book and crayons etc..he even stepped away from the counter to come around and grab them for us, this was done without any hesitation..she was extremely happy, it was a nice extra touch to the service. Now to the food and coffee, I didn't try the food to be my strict eating plan, but in all honesty it did look great! The short black was made perfectly and not to overpowering or burnt. Overall really impressed with the team, Scott also mentioned that he has more plans ahead and seems excited to put more personal touches into his new venture. That's Scott waving in the background, say "hi" to him he's very approachable and great to talk too.
I have provided a 5 star as the food and desserts were nice, a little shy on the sizes of the slices compared to other franchises. Coffee was great and the layout was beautiful with lots of Christmas spirit. Only downside was that the staff member could try put a smile on his face.Happy to come again though.
4 people for brunch at $110, fair price. But food was inedible, cold, overcooked and quite frankly I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Won’t be going back.
I came here with friends and we enjoyed it here, I bought the nachos, they were tasty but not necessarily my taste. Their chocolate cake was amazing. Coffee is nice. We bought loaded chips and they were really good!! Iced chocolate was also really good
My sister-in-law and I had a ham and cheese croissant each. It was sooo yummy and nice to have it heated properly allowing the pastry to shine, rather than being squashed flat by a sandwich press. I definitely recommend a visit.
