What a gem of a cafe! We're plant people and really appreciated all the greenery. The retro furnishings were a cool touch it was like coming to aunty's house. Lovely coffee, Lovely staff, dog friendly too.
This is my absolute favourite cafe - I drive up from Auckland for it. The staff are lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is amazing, it is so cozy and welcoming. The seating is mainly comfy couches, when it's busy you will often be sitting around a low table with other customers but I have found everyone to be pretty friendly.nnWhen you order your coffee you get to choose your own cup, and they have such a fun variety to choose from. The coffee is always excellent. The food menu is just toasties, but they are really delicious, and they usually have good vegetarian options. I believe there is also a very small selection of pastries at the counter but I have never tried them.nnIt's my go to place anytime I'm in Orewa, or anytime I need an escape from Auckland. And best of all it is dog friendly, and has its own dog Cracka who is such a cutie.
Very nice place! Fortunately I found it and have a nice cup of coffee there! And the staff is so friendly
Awesome little gem spot in the heart of Orewa. Coffee was great and you get to choose your own cup and mug, so homie! We tried a couple different toasties, was so looking forward to it that we forgot to take photos! We got the Peppa pig and spicy pig, the portion is good, lots of cheese and lots of protein, yum! Would definitely recommend to come and try it out if you are passing by, this will now be my local for sure
So good! went here for the first time last weekend and have been back three times since. Yum as vegan toastie and super good kawhe!!! GF toastie options too! Lovely puppy too! Thanks guys!
