The Cheesecake Shop Northcross

We ordered a birthday cake for our son's 6th birthday and, while the flavour was nice, the cake was still mostly frozen when we collected it.nnWe picked it up well before the party, but even four hours later, when it was time to cut the cake, it was still so frozen that I could barely get a knife through it. The texture was disappointing, and our birthday boy who has a wobbly tooth couldn't even eat his own birthday cake because it was too hard.nnIt wasn't until the following morning, after leaving it on the bench overnight, that the cake had finally thawed properly and the texture was as it should have been.nnI also emailed the business with this feedback, hoping they would respond or acknowledge the issue, but several days later I still haven't received a reply.nnIt's a shame because the cake itself tasted nice once fully thawed, but the overall experience and lack of customer service were very disappointing.nnP.S. Since posting this review, the bakery has been in touch, apologised for the experience, and kindly offered a $20 voucher as a gesture of goodwill. I really appreciate them taking the time to respond and have updated my rating to reflect the way they handled the situation.

Hi Susan,nnJust writing to say huge thankyou for you and your team for handling our gender reaveal cake. It was so smooth process to order and then received a delicious cake. It was perfect in terms of design as I expected. I will definitely visit again the store and will recommend to others. Many thanks once again.

A huge thank you to Susan from The Cheesecake Shop for making a beautiful Gigi cat cake for my daughter’s birthday! The cake looked absolutely amazing — the attention to detail and craftsWomanship were just perfect. My daughter loved it! Thank you so much, Susan, for making her day extra special.

Had a wonderful experience at The Cheesecake Shop. Jordan provided amazing customer service —helpful, and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful service and experience! The cake was decorated beautifully. Thank you, Jordan!

Dubai chocolate cake- Extremely disappointed with the choice I made and how it was made. Cake was very dry and crumbly, cream layers and sponge cake did not blend. Felt like eating cracker and cream separately. Certainly did not expect this cheesecake shop.
