Amazing experience at the Buzzstop with Nick and his team. Did the honey spinning tour and learned so much about bees, honey and what goes into the entire process of making high quality honey. Simply incredible. Nick’s passion for honey and beekeeping shines through. Highly recommend the tour and buying some honey from the extensive selection here.

A place to not missed if you’re driving to/ from queenstown. Nick and his team are amazing! The shop has a gamut of honey to choose from! Even chilli honey, you can go for a honey tasting tour too. Nick will introduce the medicinal uses of some of the honey too.nFood is also fantastic and honey coffee is really amazing! Waffles are great!nWe also did a spinning tour and learnt about the history of bee from nick. He is the fifth generation of beekeepers and has a wealth of knowledge. He walked us through the entire beekeeping process. Explaining all details and answering all questions. We will also try to collect honey. At the end of the tour, you will also receive a bottle of honey collected by you from a machine. The whole experience was great!nThey have honey mead there too and it’s good too!nWe also bought a lot of honey back!

I was impressed at the range and quality of everything, from the food on offer to the many different honeys from around the country. This is a great place to come and spend a few hours. My partner and I did a Honey spinning with Nick and he was so kind and was an absolute wealth of knowledge about bees and honey! Can’t recommend this place enough!

5 stars . Must visit from Queenstown !nWe had a full explanation on honey and mānuka by Nick. He has tremendous knowledge and experience on the golden stuff and had the patience and warmth to let us try everything. Fully recommend getting a few tubs of mānuka as yhe stuff never turns bad.nAlso had a berry mead and strongly recommend the mānuka gin tonic which was veey yummy. Only regret was that we didn't book a bee tour !nCheers Nick thanks for everything
