Unlike the crowded, busy lifestyle in downtown Queenstown you experience the calmness and the relaxed approach at Buzzstop Honey Centre & Cafe just a little drive away in the outskirts of Queenstown.nnLooking for a place to have brunch, we bumped into this location. A friendly and enthusiastic bee-keeper in the store explained us about bees, flowers and all types of honey in New Zealand. We could taste different types of delicious honey which was available there. We bought a few little jars to bring home. Still enjoying it!nnWe also visited their cafe and ordered the Banana & Berries, Triple Decker Sandwich, Big Brekkie, Eggs Benedict, together with nice cups of good coffee and tea. Don’t forget their Buzzstop Waffles for on-the-go. It was a delicious stop @ Buzzstop!
We visited The Buzzstop Honey Centre & Cafe just before leaving Queenstown, and it turned out to be the perfect last-minute decision. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our trip.nnThey offer tasting flights of gin, wine, and honey mead, which made the experience really fun and unique. Everything we tried was delicious, and you can tell a lot of care goes into their products. The food itself was also great—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.nnWhat really made it special was the stunning view. Sitting there, enjoying our drinks and food while taking in the scenery, felt like a true Queenstown moment.nnTheir store is also fantastic, with a wide selection of honey products. The best part is that you can taste almost everything before buying, which makes it easy and tempting! to pick your favorites.nnWe left wishing we had discovered this place earlier. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Queenstown!
This was my fifth time in Queenstown and I’ve never heard of this place! It will absolutely be a must go to next time I’m in town. They have a cafe, outdoor seating, a place to have mead or distilled spirits we didn’t do that part and also indoor seating. The food looks lovely, the array of honeys is fantastic. We found this place the day before leaving Queenstown, so we weren’t able to fit in a honey tour, but we will do that next time.
Our beekeeping tour at Buzzstop was such a fun and unique experience! It was really educational and interactive as we got to learn lots of cool bee facts, take a closer look and even get hands-on! with the bee nest, and end off with a Manuka honey tasting.nnWe loved how engaging and well-organised the tour conducted by Milly was. Fantastic job, Milly!nnThis place is definitely worth adding to your Queenstown itinerary if you are looking for something different to do!
Tons of honey related products for you to browse and buy. There's even bee alcohol flights for you to try at the bar. Very friendly staffs, remember to go for the unique and local honey.
