⋆˚࿔ : / ˚⋆nn : nnan experience tucked away in queenstown, make the effort to come here because the service and products sold here are local and unique from other shops.
We did the spinning tour with my boyfriend and it was amazing! For 40 min you get to learn more about bees and honey we were really surprised about how it really worked, about the relationship between the male bees, the females bees and the Queen bee. For the rest of the time you can produce your own honey with an honeycomb ! We did that during the winter so the bees were asleep but during the summer I think the activity is a bit different. I would definitely recommend this. Reel plus : our guide was very friendly, funny and has adapted to our poor English level we are French.
I would consider this the highlight of our 2 week trip across South Island NZ toward the end of summer. Brunch was delicious and the bee keeping experience is a must-go. Nick owner and guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. He was very personal and shared all his secrets about beekeeping with us while we were in beekeeping suits. We also got personalised honey products at the end of the tour. Our greatest regret is not having bought the honey mead at the store.nnBuzzstop is definitely a muz stop. Highly recommended summer activity!
Nick owner and guide is amazing. He is passionate and his enthusiasm rubs off to the whole group. He is patient and keen to educate everyone on beekeeping and the myths/facts of the honey industry.nnHighly recommend a visit here.nnTour was impactfully educational and weaved with non-stop humour and genuine sharing. Being part of the beekeeping tour - one is able to witness the insides/outs of an actual beehive as nick take apart one of his active hives and run through the features of each part of the hives - you will really get to appreciate how incredibly intellectual and gentle these creatures are.nnBee were gentle enough and under supervision and gloves off, we were able to handle these honey bees and to taste the honey from their honey combs. A once in a lifetime experience that I will never forget.nnThank you nick and crew for making this such a magical moment. You’re a legend in this industry, and keep up the great work.
This is a great place to stop for brunch.nGood range of menu items with local ingredients. Spot the dog was a welcome surprise. I enjoyed the layout of the complex lots of shops in nooks to check out. The honey tasting experience was a lovely addition and the staff were so personable and engaging. The only reason I have marked them down on the food is the portion size. It hit the spot and was well priced I was just left wanting a little bit more.
