Popped in on a recommendation...and omg I was not disappointed!!! The smell alone from when I walked in I knew I was going to love the food! Lovely friendly people running the place as well. I got the burrito to take away in a biodegradable box I might add and it was lush! I'll definitely be back to try something else. They also have a lovely selection of cakes too, I didn't try any but they looked very yummy.
Friendly but sort of snobby and expensive at the same time. The above is fine as I love a bit of class, however, it seems strange for a coffee place in the middle of Maple Road Penge which is one of the least posh areas I've ever known. At any rate, It's good to have something different there and I am glad to see something like that survive so long in Maple Road of all places! So there must be the clientele for it. Nice to think of Penge as being a place that could actually be up and coming for a change. I went to school there in the 70's and it was not even possible to imagine back then! They also do events which again brings a bit of unexpected class to the area. Wheelchair accessibility: Not really wheelchair accessible although you can sit outside and the staff will really try to accommodate you. Dietary restrictions: They have various options for those with dietary restrictions. Also, they will go out of their way to accommodate you.

What a lovely cafe! A brilliant place to catch up with friends over brunch - the atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried, the food is really good, and the staff are lovely. It's a shame I don't live in the area, I'd be a regular here! As it stands, we'll pop in for brunch every time we park up at Crystal Palace campsite in future

My friend and I agreed to meet at this cafe after realising that our favourite in the Penge area was closed for a winter break. She lives outside of London, so this was a rare chance for us to catch up. We ordered a couple of drinks and food. The cafe got very busy, and we even moved tables to accommodate more people. However, the staff prompted us that other people were waiting for our table outside. They did not ask us if we wanted anything else, like a cake or dessert. We had not been told our table was reserved, and we both had hoped to get another drink, maybe share a slice of cake, and have a little longer to catch up. We had been at the restaurant for less than 90 min in total. Even after effectively telling us to leave, they ignored our requests for the bill. It just soured our experience. This was my first, and probably my last, trip to this cafe.
Beautiful Decor, Very Clean and Friendly place. We really enjoyed our tasty breakfast. We will be visiting again and try out different dishes. Thank you for your hospitality.

Bluebelle cafe is hands down my favorite place in Penge. My husband and I make a point to stop by every week and enjoy Erica’s delightful cooking, Chris’s friendly conversation, the relaxing music and calm vibes. I cannot get enough of the homemade coffee cake and the French toast, omelettes, and paninis are second to none. This place is truly a gem within Penge! :
A little gem. We had breakfast there. Loads of choice including vegan. Brunch, lunch and great cakes.
