Went and had dinner here. I had lamb ribs, and my wife had Salmon. We both enjoyed our meals, with them being perfectly cooked. We finished off with the Apple and Pecan pie which was lovely to finish with. We will be back just for the dessert.nnHad another lovely meal here, had the Chicken Schnitzel and it was nice and tender and thick. 100% better than some we had on the Nirth Shore.

Overall it was pretty good, been there before, hardly anyone there & somewhat cold. Good waitress, fish & chips very nice but who the heck puts cinnamon and really strong cinnamon at that on tiramisu? I think it even said chocolate on the menu. Totally ruined it & hour or so later still belching up cinnamon.
The Archer is my husband's favourite restaurant so we have been here a few times. Never had anything negative to say until tonight. Dissapointed more than anything we ordered our meal everything was lovely other than my steak. I politely told the staff my steak was quite grissly and I couldn't even chew it properly. They offered me another piece I declined, they offered a tiramisu I declined. I just asked if they would discount my meal. I paid for the meal and asked for a receipt they cheekily had only given me a $2 discount. I had 3 bites of my steak and pretty much sent a whole piece of steak back to the kitchen. My meal was $45, so I asked the man why have I only been given a $2 discount his response was oh sorry my till didn't put your refund down correctly he then went away and came back and gave me $10. To be honest I'm a tad bit dissapointed technically I paid $35 for a few chips and a bowl of salad. As we walked out the man serving us walked out to the kitchen to see the chef as we walked past the kitchen door they were in there chuckling and stopped and looked away as soon as soon as my husband looked at him. Bit let down tonight team. Would of happily given a 5 star review for everything else if this didn't happen.
I cannot rave about this place enough! After suffering through the pandemic Danny and his team have pulled through and are still here. They are always bright, bubbly and make you feel like a long lost friend every time I walk in.nThe food is off the charts - fresh, hot and always reliable and consistent, great value for money.nThis is now our local, come on everyone support local and get out there and lets keep our small businesses alive by showing our support.
