I went to this restaurant with my family the same day I arrived to Auckland. Owner and manager were very warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself is very cozy and nicely decorated. All food and wines we tried were just incredible. We had the Scotch fillet in garlic butter/jus, macadamia crusted lamb rump, pork belly in sweet chilly sauce, garlic cheese pizza, sticky date pudding and chocolate lava cake. And OMG!!! everything was delicious, well cooked and condiment and the desserts would take you to heaven! For the wines we tried the Sauvignon blanks and Pinot noir and they were all on point, the had a very good selection! If we ever travel back to NZ we will definitely come again here!!!
Had the opportunity to visit this amazing restaurant with my family on a weeknight and here are my comments:nnFor starters, the staff was very welcoming and caring. There was not a moment where my glass was empty and we were never left unattended despite the volume of customers.nThe ambiance was soothing and relaxing, good lighting and had a zen vibe to it which is what I usually look for when I want to enjoy my food.nThe food was incredible! Great portions and the taste… Oh my god!!nI tried their chili caramel pork belly appetizer; for main course the macadamia crusted lamb rum and for dessert the sticky date bread pudding. The meats were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful served with a side of salad and sweet potato that made the on the spot companionship. The dessert was to die for! Warm bread pudding with a delicious glassed that went perfect with the ice cream.nGreat variety of cocktails and selection of wines. I myself wanted a local wine and the manager was kind enough to provide suggestions that went perfectly with my meal.nnNeedless to say…just remembering this meal makes my mouth water! I highly recommend you visit this restaurant if you are ever in the neighborhood.
Tunes are on point with epic atmosphere, the food is insanely delicious. The BEST eye fillet I’ve had - perfectly cooked with the creamiest mash too. Highly recommended us three will definitely be back
I had the smoked chicken cranberry brie pizza, it was incredible. Way better than I expected. My sister in law also got a BBQ smoked brisket burger and said it was delicious. I'd definitely come here again!
Hands down one of the best resteraunts on the coast! Service from the young guy tonight was outstanding. Service with a smile! Outstanding cocktails, the young girl at the till was friendly and smiley and the food... Outstanding! The best garlic ciabatta I've had, the pizzas amazing! Nice vibe, fab staff, amazing food. Wish I'd found this place sooner!
