Story

We extend a very hearty "Welcome" to all guests in our Thai Orchid Restaurant, where we hope you will have an enjoyable dining experience. Our new Food Menu has many detailed photos. Whether you are seeking simple rice and noodle dishes, stir-fried classics, or 300-year-old court recipes, we are happy to assist with your selections.

Some dishes can be intensified or toned-down in terms of spiciness. While ordering, please feel free to express your wishes in this regard. For more than ten years Thai Orchid has been offering its Thai cuisine out-of-house for both private and business occasions. We would be happy to fulfill any of your catering needs. Very cool place. Was quite busy and the staff were dealing with a big surprise wall up crowd so we're under decent pressure but still managed to serve us well andeals were top notch. Really nice atmosphere.
Everything, I mean EVERYTHING was amazing. The food looks exactly like the posted photos on google and tastes so yummy. I had a fantastic time here, well worth a visit A+++
Best thai food experience in New Zealand for me so far. The crispy duck was really good and the green salmon curry is unique from this place. Also tried some of the cocktails, nice experience. The service was amazing, very familiar with any customer.
Definitely amazing! If you have never tried this restaurant, you must go! It`s absolutely tasty, and the owner is so kind, she makes all your experience be more than perfect!
One of the best restaurants in Aotearoa. Stumbled across it by accident, but what a find. It's a must in Christchurch.
Had the best meal. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Will be going back soon as I absolutely loved it here.

Authentic Thai cuisine. They had a new wanton creation with prawn and goat cheese - that's really delicious. The drunken noodles and stirred fried red curry were tasty too. Unfortunately the restaurant had 2 groups of very loud guests which had dampened our mood quite a bit. Otherwise a nice restaurant to go too.
