At Abalone Thai Restaurant we offer a very fine authentic Thai dining experience. Our menu consists of all of your Thai favorites, as well as a range of Traditional Thai Curry's, Appetizers, gourmet meats, seafood and more.

I love this place its been consistently amazing for the last ~10 ? Years. Tried many other Thai food places in Christchurch to much disappointment after Abalone thai sets the bar really high. Excellent value for money. The taste is great. The restaurant has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Background noise is not a problem, it is a good place for group discussion. Very friendly service. The option to bring your own drinks is also great!
Ordered takeaways from here tonight, the satay was really flavourful, we also ordered a chicken and vege pad thai. We live 3 minutes drive away, and the food was only just warm when we got home, as if it had been heated on order, but not heated enough. I'd read great reviews about this place, but it was a real let down.
Delicious thai food with ATTITUDE! Very delicious food, reasonable price, and friendly service. Highly recommend it. Will definitely come back.
Great all round Thai food that's very consistent with every order. We regularly get take out from here and occasionally dine in some times we even utilise their delivery service
Great atmosphere. Really nice staff. The big fish tank is a good attraction for the kids. Unfortunately my chicken pad se ew was a little bit dry. However, I would return. :
Before I review the actual restaurant I just wanted to the staff who were very friendly and Very helpful. They offered to serve a table of 6 15 minutes before closing. The actual restaurant was a great environment and the fish tank provided a nice touch when eating. Would 100% recommend going. The 4.4 stars is well deserved and would give a 4.5

Very good food and good service. Everything is clean and proper. Can recommend this. We ate lamb, duck and rice.
