Highly recommend for glowworms. Try to not use a torch and use the city lights to walk on the track. This allows ur eyes to adjust to see the glow worms. There are lots and lots of them.nnSee the photo for the map on where to find them. There are reflective markers on the track to show you the spot. You dont have to do the entire walk as you can spot the glowworms in first 10 min of walk.
Great easy walk with minimal grade, the giant tree ferns are absolutely epic! Please note that the path is currently closed about 500m in from the road which appears to be a land slip. This was as of 21 June 2025.
Beautiful free nature trail through a rain forest. Saw glow worms and fan tail birds. It's a quick lovely walk through the woods.
Really nice short walk in the forest, however see the glow worm is a bit tricky. Esp after it's getting dark, need some luck to find the mark of the worms.
A FREE experience just a short stroll from your accommodation. Walked to the end of the track and saw some glow worms there whilst sitting on the bench. Turn off your torch and let your eye adjust to see the little blue glow. On the way back we found an upturned tree that had heaps more and got an upclose view of them.
