Enjoyed a meal in the cafe... staff warned us there would be a wait for food we didn't book.. it was worth waiting for! Garden centre is great. Had the plants we had been unable to find elsewhere and beautifully laid out.
Outstanding service.. These people care about plants and care about people more. I popped in to grab a rare plant... they were so helpful and im definitely returning to have a big explore of their grounds! The shop and cafe make this more than a garden centre and definitely a great afternoon experience. Cheers
Paid $28 for 2 coffees, 1 slice and a sausage roll. After 20minutes we'd finished the coffees and were still waiting for the sausage roll. We ended up taking it away - it had obviously been microwaved and forgotten about, totally 'soggy'. Disappointed at the slow response, staff attitude and overall food quality - given the price.
The breakfast was nice enough but because of the cold plate the food was cold. I really wish cafes and restaurants would use hot plates. I asked for extra hot coffee and that came luke warm. I took that back to be heated up. Otherwise it's a lovely place with a good atmosphere. We went to the garden centre afterwards and got a few plants.
First time here for many years. Just as good as I remember. Tasty food, excellent coffee, superior service and a lovely ambiance.
They have nice plants here but the staff are terrible. Everything I come in it's a mission to find anyone for advice and the staff always seem like they don't want to help you picking plants. Other plant stores are much more friendly and less snobby
Can't remember going to this place at the time but on previous visits more reasonly it wasn't just a garden centre but it seemed like a gift shop come garden centre and for some reason I can't remember anything about cafe but the coffee was good
Great range, but disappointong customer care. I spent $200 on a Dracaena, only for it to die. I was requested to take it in so they could see it, only to be advised it had probably been overwatered. Not in my care it hasn't - perhaps before I bought it? Either way, won't be buying plants here again. Buyer beware; sale is final.
My wife and I used to absolutely love going to Terra viva, we would be in there 2-3 times a week. But before the mandates were rolled out, the owners had already put up signs saying the unvaccinated were not welcome. Because of this, we took our business elsewhere, to Strange Bandit down the road. Who operated under takeaway through the mandates. We have probably easily spent over $1000 at Strange Bandit, which could've easily been Terra vivas money. To cut a long story short, my wife and I were talking this morning about how we miss Terra viva, but we will never go back because of their discrimination. A sad end to what was a great relationship between us and the business.
For the price, the Gardeners Breakfast was pretty average. Greasy, very little bacon and overall not that pleasant I'm afraid. Lovely shopping though and the cabinet food looked much better.
