Terra Sancta is our name. It means Sacred Earth, or, in modern Kiwi, “special dirt”. Our home is in Central Otago’s famed Bannockburn region.

I searched for this cellar door because we love the Rose, possibly the best Rose in the world!! We were welcomed and offered a tasting of a multitude of delicious wines. Signed up for the wine club because they were flexible and accommodating of our tastes. Wish I’d gotten our hosts name, she was awesome and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
We loved coming here, and being greeted by the beautiful pond and birds surrounding it. The wine tasting we had was fantastic and knowledgeable - our host was so friendly and helpful. We didn't realise just how unique Terra Sancta was until we spoke with our host. We ended up leaving with two bottles of wine and a membership to the wine club - it was just that good.
Being from Australia, we hadn't heard of Terra Sancta before but I saw the incredible reviews and the rose on a few restaurant menus, so we had to go. Everything about this winery exceeded expectations. The setting was stunning, the wines were all delicious and the host was so friendly and knowledgeable. We bought some of the aperitivo as we'd never tried anything like it.
As a part of my Sperm Donation World tour of New Zealand I visited Central Otago and came across this lovely winery, great unique wines and Jodie was a lovely host.
Visited this stunning property, on 14/09/22 had a wonderful experience, wine was sensational, so was the relaxed yet passionate and informative host. Because of that I am now a member.
Really great vineyard, amazing scenery and an awesome selection of tasty wines. Lots of cute animals, dogs, sheep and rabbits roaming around too haha
What a wonderful experience at the cellar door. Have enjoyed Terra Sancta wines for a while now and such a treat to be able to relax and unhurriedly enjoy the wines on offer at the tasting. Such friendly and passionate staff made the afternoon very relaxing and totally enjoyable. Will definitely return. Thank you Terra Sancta

My wife and I pulled into Terra Sancta on a whim during our honeymoon, and so glad we did! Jodie was amazing, we had a great time chatting and didn't feel rushed at all. Also great to have no charge for a tasting! Fantastic wines and even better experience. Highly recommended!
